Photos Week 2 - Refuge de Bostan to Refuge de Nant Borrant (Contamines-Montjoie)

The promise of good views of the approaching Mont Blanc massif brought false hope as cloud, rain and then snow ruined any views. Our first rest day at the Chalets d'Anterne allowed us to explore the limestone area with its underground rivers but the following day continuous light snow above 1700 metres impeded our progress and, combined with fog, gave us a few worrying moments. The following morning early mist cleared to give us a wonderful view of the whole of the Mont Blanc chain which we kept in our sight for the next few days together with all the great photo opportunities.
