Photos Week 1 ( part week )- St Gingolph to Refuge de Bostan / Tornay

An early flight from Luton and then a succession of buses to St Gingolph was a prelude to a short day's climb to our first overnight stay. For the first 4 days we hugged the Swiss frontier and spent one morning (Day 4) within Switzerland. Unsettled weather with some thunderstorms and cold at night but as the clouds cleared on some days high peaks came in to view. Our overwhelming impression was the abundance and richness of the flora.
