"Full Walking Day 40. At 10.07a.m. on our 40th day of walking a highly significant moment in our walk - we crossed the Atlantic / Mediterranean watershed at the Coll de Como d'Anyell. Behind us 2 days of continuous rain, ahead the luminous blue of a clearing Mediterranean sky. Within a few hours the climate, scenery and vegetation all changed dramatically .... and we even saw, like the dove from Noah's Ark, a symbolic seagull over the Lac des Bouillouses" - 2nd August
