"Final preparations are well underway. We've done our last training walk with full packs - the weather on Dartmoor was almost like the south of France! House almost ready for our tenants. Latest editions of Trekking in the Pyrenees (Trailblazer Publications) and the GR10 Trail (Cicerone Press) books received. Fund-raising has already reached £3,000 - that means £60 for each day we walk. Would love to raise that to £120 a day by end of our trek in mid August!!" - 14th June
"Apart from some major problems sending photos from French internet cafes, we're both fine - 3 days walking including a supposedly difficult descent with no problems - tho' 36C temperatures have led to an early rest day in Bidarray." - 20th June
