Accommodation Week 1

Novel - useful to get here if you arrive in Geneva in the morning ... and to break initial big climb. Much of the accommodation is unfortunately closed. Mme Debens at Le Franco-Suisse ( try contacting her through alaindebens@orange.fr ) was a warm and helpful hostess - but it is not open all the time at the moment.
Chalet Roulin, La Chapelle d'Abondance - separate room accommodation : excellent food : in high summer unlikely to be available for a single night
Refuge de Chésery ( du Lac Vert ) - basic mountain refuge : opened one night early for us : contact refugedechesery@bluemail.ch
Refuge de Bostan ( Tornay ) - good traditional mountain refuge : cold showers : can't book through website but did get contact at vezin.claude@wanadoo.fr
