Accommodation Week 6 ( highlighted places with an * were our personal favourites at the time )
La Cure Maljasset* - my
personal favourite of all : family business just passed to 3rd generation : young chef with dry humour and
huge pride in his job : outstanding food : vaulted dining room : small remote village setting - to be
savoured!
Les Granges Fouillouse - quite similar to La Cure
in setting and feel : also very good
: friendly hostess
Gîte de Larche* - purpose-built as part of post-war reconstruction of village : what it
lacks in atmosphere is made up for by wardens and their personal well-documented world travels : excellent
food : contact by e-mail
Gîte de Bousiéyas - aim for the annexe accommodation if possible - very old and unusual
converted farmhouse with traditional furnishings : vegetarian food only : contact by e-mail
Hotel Le Stéphanois St Etienne de Tinée - basic hotel accommodation and food : contact by
e-mail
