SW Coast Path Home Page

Britain's longest national trail (just over 1,000kms) is not for the faint-hearted. There are relatively easy sections but for much of the time you face a rapid succession of very steep ups and downs that can mean nearly 2,000 metres of climb and descent in a day's walk. You are, however, rewarded with simply stunning scenery and constantly changing, varied and interesting sites - whether you tackle it as single day walks, in sections of a week or more or as a one-off challenge.
